It took me 22 days to gain 2,000 followers, my total currently stands at 2,001. Progress over the last week, since the 2,000 following limit kicked in,has been slow but steady, gaining about 40 followers a day, but losing about 15 daily too.
I have used a couple more sites to gain followers , the simplest of which is also one of the cleverest. I join a list which autofollows the 50 people in front of me on the list, the person who joins after me autofollows me and the next 49 and so on until I have an additional 50 followers, there are many of these springing up and by joining these lists I reckon I can gain about 250 followers a week.
I am starting to see the attraction of gaining followers, it’s like a competition to see if I can reach a target by the end of the day, or can I gain 5 followers in the next 5 minutes. ( I didn’t say it was a fun competition), I can see how having 70,000+ followers can be a thrill for people, although the other side of that is that you, in general, have to follow 70,000+ .
