@dunchinson @MyMuses have both asked about the joke I had opened the Twitter account for, both of them assuming no doubt that it was a scandalous joke on a par with The Aristocrats that I was too ashamed to tweet from my real account. The truth, as it often is, is far duller than that.
I was involved in a jokey conversation with @glinner and @mkupperman where a murder had been committed and all the suspects had been gathered and @mkupperman was addressing all of them, in the way the detective does in Agatha Christie novels. He then said “the murderer is…ggkjtgjhlkmlkl ”and died.
I opened an account in the name of @ggkjtgjhlkmlkl and replied “that’s outrageous,I was in Somalia at the time. I’m afraid you’re wrong sir.”
Cue the busting of many a gut with laughter, ribs being tickled and a guffaw, the volume of which was heard in space.
The account, having done it’s duty, promptly died, only to be reborn for a greater good, much like our saviour, Chev Chelios.
I did warn you it was a dull story.
