I also joined http://ad.ly/, which pays people to advertise in their tweets. @kimkardashian , has around 4½ million followers , is paid to advertise with Ad.ly and is allegedly paid $10,000 per advertised tweet.I signed up this morning and will be paid $0.60c per advertised tweet. 

I apparently get to approve all ads before they are tweeted in my timeline, I am waiting for an advertiser to get in touch.
