I gained more followers overnight, I now have 777 and was this morning following 882, the interesting thing(to me anyway) is that despite the difference of just over a hundred between my following/follower list, there were actually 262 I follow that weren’t following me back, this means that about 150 people have started following me, despite me posting nothing of interest.

I am obviously on a few lists at this stage (not just the Twitter lists, I’m only on 4 of them) of people who follow back and am being followed accordingly. I didn’t expect this to happen with such volume and so for the next 24 hours I have changed my game plan slightly. 

I have unfollowed the “deadbeats” and am now following only the 777 that are following me, I will follow anyone that follows me but I will not be using any lists today. I will only follow those who choose to follow first, just to see how many that may be.

Later on, as promised,  I will compare the different reasons people use Twitter.
